I can't look them in the eye.
Every time I leave the house, I think Mother and Father think that's really it. That I'm never coming back. If I go to the market for something, or I run an errand, or even if I go to fetch Arwen from outside for supper.
I've ruined their lives, haven't I? This is something that I did to them. No one else. How many years did they believe I was dead?
How could I even think of leaving them again?
